Edward Elric
is a prodigy, and the youngest Alchemist in the State Army’s history. He seeks the Philosopher’s Stone so that he may restore his missing limbs and reunite his younger brother Alphonse’s body with his soul, which was tragically trapped in a suit of armor after a failed attempt to revive their mother. However, in his quest to find the stone he begins to unravel some unsettling truths about the State Military of which he serves.
Alphonse Elric
is the younger brother of renowned Alchemist, Edward Elric. After a tragic accident that left him sealed in an armor body, he wants nothing more than to be human again. Alphonse, an accomplished alchemist himself, supports his brother in finding the stone that is said to hold the power to heal them.
Roy Mustang
is the Flame Alchemist and a veteran of the State Military. He is eager to excel in his field and become Fuhrer of the Military, where he says he will do away with war.
Riza Hawkeye
is a shinning example of the model State soldier. She serves as Roy Mustang’s right hand woman, advising him when needed. She is skilled in the use of firearms and commands respect from those she meets.
Winry Rockbell
is a long time friend of Edward and Alphonse. She is a skilled mechanic and loves to
break down and rebuild complicated mechanical devices.
Fuhrer King Bradley
is the most powerful man in the world, with command over both the State Government and the State Army. Although he is very relaxed and easy going most times, he is a highly skilled swordsman and can prove to be very vicious in battle. Oddly, he does not want Edward to find the Philosopher’s Stone.
Yoki – State Military
he commands the State outpost and mining community of Youswell. He is extremely cruel and uses the people of the town for his own personal gain. He is always sure to keep his assistant Lyra close by, as she can protect him with her use of alchemy.
